Storage Fees

Storage Fees

26 March, 2020

The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI) has received lots of calls from importers regarding the application of storage fees and would like to advise that storage fees will be waived where it is justified and applicable for goods that arrived after March 21, 2020 and where the  importers were unable to collect prior to the imposition of the Caronavirus prevention/containment curfew by the Government.   Unfortunately, with the volume of goods being imported, space is at a premium and PACI would very much appreciate importers clearing and collecting their goods in a reasonable time.  For those genuinely impacted by the curfew, we will waive storage fees, but for those who could have, but did not clear and collect their cargo, storage fees will apply.
