Today, PACI officially commissioned the first Refrigerated Container Plugs at the dock in Little Cayman. The project was done in-house with the electrical carried out by Mega Systems. That enhancement will mean that for the first time in our history, customers in Little Cayman will not have to worry about their imported refrigerated cargo spoiling if due to circumstances beyond their control, it cannot be collected upon arrival. The Shipping Agent can plug the container into any of the six power receptacles provided to power the container to preserve the cargo.
In addition to that, lighting for the pier was also replaced with the assistance of Brac Power and Light.
