SYNOPSIS:
Moderate winds with slight to moderate seas expected over the next 24 hours in association with a high pressure system over the western Atlantic. Further north, a cold front over the northwest Gulf of Mexico will impact wind speeds over our area in the next few days as it approaches the western Caribbean. Radar images show isolated showers, in and around the Cayman area, which are moving towards the northwest.
FORECAST:
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of showers. Temperatures will fall to the low 70’s °F. Winds will be southeast at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet.
Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers. Temperatures will rise to the mid 80’s °F. Winds will be southeasterly at 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be slight to moderate with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.
OUTLOOK: the cold front moves into our area Sunday morning supporting moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds, rough seas and northwesterly swells.
