Make sure you check your safety equipment before going out on the water and ensure that every person onboard wears a floatation device and that you have some form of communication device that is protected in a water tight bag.

On Behalf of The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands and the Watersports Association Jet Around Cayman, we would like to advise the boating public that there will be a personal watercraft race around the island starting on Monday, 18th of April, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The race departs from Seven Mile Public Beach and heads to the North and will last approximately two hours. All marine interests are advised to please be extremely vigilant for these crafts operating around the island. Have a safe, pleasant and enjoyable Easter boating weekend.
Please be advised that one of our RTG cranes (RTG1 or A Side crane) is out of service for today, March 14th, 2022 and that this will affect the speed of service and access to some containers. We expect to be fully operational by tomorrow. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

The Port Authority will be closed for today, Monday, March 7th, 2022 due to the passing of a staff member. We will open for regular hours again tomorrow.

Please note that the Port Authority will be closing at 3:30PM today due to the sudden passing of a team member and the need for an emergency meeting. The Warehouse, Billing Office and the Container Yard will be closed to the public for the remainder of the day. We will resume our regular hours from tomorrow.

Due to a positive Covid-19 case, the Port Authority’s Cargo Distribution Centre Warehouse will be closed for deep cleaning until further notice. We apologize for this but we want to keep our staff and customers safe for the holidays. Please monitor our website or social media pages for more details.
The Port Authority, as Receiver of Wrecks for the Cayman Islands, would like to notify the public of three vessels that have been recovered. The details of the vessels are available in this document: Receiver of Wrecks Notices 2021-12-16. If you are the owner of one of these vessels, please email wrecks@caymanport.com with proof of ownership to claim the vessel.
We would just like to remind our customers that the Port Authority will be extending our hours to ensure you are able to collect your cargo before Christmas. We will be open until 6pm from Monday to Friday and 3pm on Saturdays until December 23rd. Please take advantage of the extended hours to collect your cargo as it becomes available as we have limited warehouse space during the holiday season.
