The Port Authority Of Cayman Islands would like to advice the public that the Light House at East End is not functioning and we will advise as soon as it is repaired.

Port Authority of The Cayman Islands (PACI) commissioned into service eight (8) new 2020 TICO Pro-Spotter terminal trucks. These trucks are
specifically designed for terminal operations consisting of a heavy-duty chassis, high weight capacity axle and 5th wheel. With 95% of the truck being galvanized, composite material cab, all metal dashboard, additional safety lighting and driver comforts & safety features will prolong the life as rust will be minimal. These trucks will provide many years of improved efficiency for port operations and lower cost of operations for PACI.

The Port of George Town has been re-opened and cruise ships will be tendering at George Town and Spotts today.

Current weather conditions are making it unsafe for cruise and cargo vessel operations.  Management at the Port Authority will be monitoring weather conditions closely and will re-open the Port as soon as it is safe to do so.
