Cargo Port Strategic Outline
With the all clear given after the passing of Hurricane Beryl, the Port Authority will be resuming normal business hours on Friday, July 5th, 2024. This includes normal collection and return of containers.
The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands would like to remind all customers that storage charges will be applied if cargo is not collected in a timely manner.
Customers are advised to collect their cargo within 5 business days of the cargo’s arrival on the island. Please note that public holidays and weekends are exempt from this 5-day period.
If cargo is not collected within this 5-business day window, storage charges will begin to accrue. As these fees can accumulate rapidly, we strongly encourage all customers to make the necessary arrangements to retrieve their cargo as soon as cargo is unloaded and available for collection.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the Port Authority Billing Office at 914-3788.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
