Cayman Port Director's son, Asher Reid Rescues Turtle Hatchling

7-year old Asher Reid, son of Port Director for Cayman Port has always been environmentally conscious.  This was evident in his efforts to help rescue a turtle hatchling washed ashore due to high winds and seas from the brushing Hurricane Irma.

The Port Authority reached out to the Department of Environment to release the endangered Green sea turtle back to its natural habitat – the ocean.
